The Poison Oak Land Zine (Issue #2)
Excited to announce Issue #2 of Poison Oak Land, an East Bay cycling zine celebrating all aspects of the East Bay Cycling scene. This edition primarily focuses on the 15th anniversary of East Bay Bike Party (May 2025) but there are some MTB, bike touring, and general interest pieces as well.
There are 60 pages of stories, interviews, and bike culture… and contents include:
- A beautiful poem about Tunnel Road by @sublime.caroline
- Interviews with longtime EBBP organizers @claisam, @palmquist652, and @ccbuck1962
- An interview chat with EBBP co-founder Ashley Elliot

The purpose of this zine is to showcase and celebrate all the wonderful people, rides, gear, and projects that make the East Bay cycling community so special. Drawing inspiration from Calling in Sick, Low Pressure Zine, Bicycle Quarterly, and Dirtrag, we aim to connect the dots between various cycling subcultures and get people inspired and informed.
