Issue 3+4 - Poison Oak Land Zine

$10.00

Super excited to announce the release of Issue 3+4 of the Poison Oak Land zine. This one has been in progress for the last 3 months. It's the largest release yet (hence the double issue), with 84 pages of content from a wide variety of contributors. It's also the first issue with perfect binding.

This issue is broken up into trip reports and essays. Some of the pieces include:

Johannes Santen @jhnnss on surviving the Silk Road Mountain Race in Kyrgyzstan, described as "the hardest bikepacking race in the world"
Elliot Goodrich and @mark_hnsen's step-by-step guide to bikepacking Henry Coe State Park (for roadies brave enough to try dirt)
Naor Deleanu's cross-country Ride Against War on Gaza, complete with lightning strikes and food poisoning
Cyrus Farivar @cfarivar praying to the bikepacking gods over an unmarked PVC pipe in the Nevada County backcountry
Andrew M. H. Alexander @amalex5's romantic foraging-by-bike trip to Salt Point with foraged paella over the campfire
Willem Bosboom @tastycycles on why bike shops keep going out of business
Dan Frank makes the case for suspension on your gravel bike (but no pressure)
An interview with MaFe Gonzalez @merequetenguered on the ecological zones of Tunnel Road
Mo Corleone on how Access Trikes is giving freedom back to riders with disabilities
Tomaso Bogia's "cassette of political engagement" for shifting up your advocacy game
Alex Reep's ride diary from the final year of AIDS/LifeCycle
The Lake Merritt Puppet Society @lakemerrittpuppetsociety introduces Le Poisson Velo, a giant fish puppet riding with East Bay Bike Party
